VOTE, VOTE, VOTE

I know politics can be overwhelming and understanding the various propositions, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to VOTE.

Sometime people think their vote does not matter; it does matter, and it is one of the best ways to make a difference.

I went to a training today at the Santa Clara Association of Realtors, and a representative said this is the lowest turnout he has ever seen in over 20 years.

SO, LET'S GET OUT THE VOTE!!!

It is so easy to vote. If you are not registered to vote, you can complete a paper registration form, which can be picked up at the U.S. Post Offices, Public Libraries, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and other government offices. You can also register on-line.

To register in California, you must:

  • be a United States citizen
  • be a resident of California
  • be at least 18 years old or older on Election Day
  • not be currently serving a state or federal prison term for the conviction of a felony
  • not be currently found to be mentally incompetent to vote by a court

Pass this on and encourage your relatives, friends and co-workers to VOTE.
